Settings → Account connects Switchboard to NOVAX Cloud on thenovax.com. Sign in to unlock complimentary AI token quota, optional crowd feed sharing for Intelligence, and Main Brain drafting that benefits from richer signals.
Feed share is opt-in. You can contribute analytical signals from captures (engagement context and structured features) to the crowd pool — or keep captures entirely local. More diverse contributors make cloud Intelligence smarter for everyone who participates.
Use Account when you are ready for cloud features; skip it when you want a pure local console.

Frequently asked questions
Is a cloud account required to use Switchboard?
No. Core multi-account browsing and local captures work without signing in. Cloud unlocks Intelligence, AI quota, and optional feed share.
What is uploaded if I enable feed share?
Analytical signals and tags derived from captures — not a public marketing dump of full posts and handles. See the privacy policy for current details.
What are free tokens for?
Cloud AI drafting (including Main Brain / Generate flows) consumes quota. Signed-in accounts receive complimentary allowance per plan rules.
Can I sign out and stop syncing?
Yes. Signing out stops new uploads from that session. Already-synced records follow the product’s retention policy.
